Jul 24, 2013 -- 10:31am

A Milford man is free on bond after being arrested for child endangerment after trying to run over another driver.

Milford Police say on July 15, 40-year-old Michael Carlisle used his vehicle to ram the vehicle in front of him into the intersection of North Washington Street and Northeast Front Street. When the driver of the other vehicle got out to confront him, police say Carlisle drove right at him, and opened his side door to hit him. The other driver received minor injuries, but declined medical treatment. Police say Carlisle had a 5-year-old and a 9-year-old in his vehicle at the time.

Carlisle has been charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, vehicular assault, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, failing to report an accident, and criminal mischief under $1,000. He’s free on $2,450 unsecured bond.
