A Milford teen was arrested on drug charges in Harrington over the weekend.
On Saturday, Harrington Police say they saw a teenager standing in front of a business on Commerce Street who fit the description of someone who was involved in an earlier complaint that was being investigated. Officers began talking with the teen, and they say he gave them false information. When they tried to arrest him, the teen began struggling with one of them. The 17-year-old was eventually cuffed, and officers say a search of him turned up 18.2 grams of marijuana. They also found that he was wanted out of Kent County Family Court.
The boy has been charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation and resisting arrest. He’s been released to the custody of his parents, and will have to appear in Kent County Family Court.
