Jul 12, 2013 -- 5:52am

Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the man who stole purses from vehicles parked at a swimming club in Wilmington.

Troopers say on Monday morning, a man broke the windows of two vehicles that were parked at the Graylyn Crest Swim Club on Marsh Road and stole the purses that were inside. State Police say these thefts are similar to ones that have been happening in parking lots throughout the North Wilmington area.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police Troop 1 at (302) 761-6677, extension 309, or by using the State Police Mobile Crime Tip App on a smart phone.
