Jul 02, 2013 -- 4:12am

Delaware State Police have arrested two Pennsylvania men and a Claymont teenager for burglarizing the Benchmark Transmission shop on Philadelphia Pike in Claymont Sunday morning.

Police say the incident occurred just after 2 a.m. when officers responded to reports of suspicious people sitting in a vehicle parked in front of the auto repair shop.

Arriving officers found 20-year-old Victor Peeples, 21-year-old Sylvester Rogers and the 16-year-old boy sitting in a car parked at the shop. An investigation determined that all three had gained entry into the business through a window and removed nine sets of keys; they then used the keys to gain access to the vehicle in which they had been sitting.

All three  were charged with 3rd degree burglary, attempted theft of a motor vehicle, 2nd degree conspiracy, theft under $1,500, and criminal mischief under $1,000.
