The Firefly Music Festival in Dover was such a huge success this year, more than doubling the number of people who attended, that organizers of the event say the show will go on for at least the next 10 years.
More than 65,000 people were in Dover for the three-day event; Red Frog Events announced the 10-year deal Monday.
Also on Monday, Red Frog announced the dates for next year’s event, June 20-22. Tickets go on sales for Firefly 2014 Wednesday morning at 9.
DelDOT meantime says it’s looking at ways to alleviate traffic for next year’s event as police say traffic was backed up from Dover to Middletown at times throughout the event.
