A Millsboro woman has been charged with her sixth DUI after an accident Friday afternoon in Long Neck.
Delaware State Police say around 4 o’clock Friday afternoon, Troopers were called to Plaza Drive near the McDonald’s in Long Neck for a two-vehicle crash in which one of the vehicles had fled. The investigation revealed that a Ford Ranger pickup was exiting from the McDonald’s when it hit the driver’s side of another vehicle that was traveling east on Plaza Drive. Troopers then went to the home of 59-year-old Deborah Pettyjohn, and found the Ranger with front-end damage parked in the driveway.
In addition to her sixth DUI, Pettyjohn has been charged with leaving the scene of a property collision accident, driving with a suspended or revoked license, failure to provide information at the scene of a collision, and failure to report a collision involving alcohol or drugs. She’s being held at SCI on $6,250 cash bond.
