State Police Looking For Man Who Tried To Rob Supermarket Bank Branch in Claymont

Delaware State Police are looking for the man who tried to rob a bank branch inside a supermarket in Claymont.

Troopers say around 3:30 Friday afternoon, a man went into the WSFS bank branch inside the Superfresh store on Philadelphia Pike and demanded money from the teller. However, he then ran away before the teller could hand over any money.

The robber is described as a white man, 6 feet tall and 190 pounds with an average build. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police Troop 2 at (302) 834-2630, extension 6, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, or by using the State Police Mobile Crime Tip App on their smartphone.
