Federal officials, along with representatives from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, will be in Wilmington this morning to announce the seizure of the long-lost "Rosenberg Diary."
Alfred Rosenberg was a close confidant of Adolf Hitler; he was also one of the most influential and important members of the Third Reich and of the Nazi Party. Rosenberg was privy to much of the planning for the Nazi racial state, mass murder of the Jewish people, planning and conduct of World War II and the occupation of Soviet territory.
Today’s presser is set for 11 a.m. at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Office in Wilmington.
