Delaware AG Biden To Be Honored By U.S. State Department For Work Training Law Enforcement, Justice Agencies Abroad

May 10, 2013 -- 12:52pm

Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden and his office will be honored by the U.S. State Department for their work in training law enforcement and justice agencies abroad.

In March, Biden worked with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs to establish a partnership where his office provides training, advising and mentoring to justice sectors in foreign countries. A working relationship between the AG’s Office and the State Department dates back to November of last year. Delaware is only the second state AG’s Office to establish a training partnership with the INL, and the first state to send its staff to support its justice programs.

The ceremony will be held at 9:15 Monday morning at the State Department office in Washington.
