Maryland To Hold Inaugural Gun Turn-in Saturday

On Saturday, Marylanders can turn in unwanted firearms at several drop off locations around the state – including Salisbury.  The inaugural gun turn-in day is Saturday across the state of Maryland.  The Salisbury Police Department will be one of the sites where you can turn in firearms – no questions asked.  The day is to give residents the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted firearms – handguns, rifles and shotguns.  No personal ID is needed, no appointment necessary.  All firearms must be unloaded, no ammunition will be accepted.  Leave your firearms outside the building and contact officer standing by in the lobby for assistance.  The gun turn-in runs from 11 to 3pm


Somerset County - MSP Barracks – Princess Anne – 9am to 5pm

Wicomico County – Salisbury Police - 11am to 3pm

Worcester County - Pocomoke City Police – 8am to 8pm
