You're Invited to a Tree Planting Celebration in Salisbury Saturday Afternoon

Apr 25, 2013 -- 7:00pm

Salisbury Mayor Jim Ireton, the city and members of the Wicomico Environmental Trust invite you to help plant trees to beautify the city and improve the health of the Wicomico River on Saturday – which is Arbor Day.  The tree planting will be held at the Port of Salisbury Marina on West Main Street at 2:30pm.  The trees will help to reduce the contaminants in the storm water runoff – as well as help to clean the air, provide oxygen, absorb greenhouse gases and provide shade in the summer.
