Apr 23, 2013 -- 4:49am

An investigation by Delaware State Park Rangers into a series of vehicle break-ins over the last three months at White Clay Creek and Brandywine Creek State Parks culminated in the arrests April 19 of a Wilmington couple on an array of criminal charges.

38-year-old Jason Scott and 27-year-old Katheleen Brown were arrested and charged with various offenses, including misdemeanor theft, conspiracy and criminal mischief. Scott was committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $4,200 bail; Brown was released after posting $7,250 bail.

State Park Rangers say they developed leads on the suspects through surveillance images and physical evidence left at several areas where break-ins occurred.
