The Delaware House is expected to vote this afternoon on a bill legalizing same-sex marriage in Delaware.
The bill was released from the House Administration Committee last week for a full vote by the House and Senate. If the measure is approved, same-sex marriage would go into effect in Delaware on July 1, making the First State the 10th state in the nation to legalize same-sex marriage.
Gov. Jack Markell supports same-sex marriage and has said he will sign the bill into law if it passes the General Assembly.
