Laurel H.S. & Frear Elementary Recognized for Innovation & Excellence in Parental Involvement

Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn today announced the two schools honored with the 4th annual “Lt. Governor’s Excellence in Parental Involvement Award” during a press conference at Allen Frear Elementary School in Camden-Wyoming.

The 2013 winners of the award are Frear Elementary School, in the Caesar Rodney School District and Laurel High School in the Laurel School District.

The two winners were picked by a committee of parents, teachers, administrators, and representatives from the business community.

Both schools will now be recognized at the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce’s Superstars in Education dinner on May 6.
