Apr 10, 2013 -- 4:47am

A 22-year-old Dover man is behind bars at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center, being held in lieu of $50,000 for robbing a teenager at gunpoint.

Dover Police say the victim told them he met Steven Walls on social media and the two agreed to meet Monday at the Hamlet Shopping Center. Police say Walls picked the victim up and while they were driving, Walls pulled a handgun and stole the teens’ cell phone, ID and a small amount of pot.

Later that same day, Walls texted a family member of the victim and said he wanted to sell him his phone back. Police set up surveillance and Walls was arrested and charged with 1st degree robbery.
