Harrington Woman Charged in Motorcyle/Car Crash in Dover

Apr 06, 2013 -- 5:16am

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next week for a 20-year-old Harrington woman who was charged this week for her role in a March 19 crash involving a motorcycle and a car in Dover that killed a 48-year-old Magnolia woman.

Police say Ann Breeding was pulling out of a private driveway on South State Street when she collided with a motorcycle being driven by 49-year-old Lawrence Kibler; he and his passenger wife, Judy were thrown off the bike; Lawrence survived the crash but his wife died.

Police say Breeding was not hurt and that she told officers she never saw the motorcycle.

Breeding is charged with failure to yield the right of way and a felony count of operation of a vehicle causing the death of another person.
