Good news this morning for the control tower at the Salisbury-Ocean City: Wicomico Regional Airport. That’s because the FAA made the decision Friday to delay closing 149 airport control towers until June.
Salisbury’s tower will remain open for at least a few more weeks.
Airport Manager Bob Bryant says the delay is good news and will give him some extra time to try and and come up with an answer to keeping his tower open past the June deadline.
