Beat the Peak from 6-8 A.M.

Apr 04, 2013 -- 5:38am

For the second consecutive day, it’s cold this morning and the Delaware Electric Cooperative is asking members to help Beat the Peak between 6 and 8 a.m.

During that time energy will be at peak usage and much more costly.

You can help lower energy costs by turning off unnecessary lights and delay the use of major appliances like the dishwasher, washier and dryer and hot water.  You could also lower your thermostat by a few degrees.
