UPDATE: Fire in Accomack County Sun. Night Ruled Arson

UPDATED STORY:  Virginia State Police have now confirmed that a fire in a two-story structure Sunday night in Accomack County was indeed arson.

This brings to 76, the number of deliberately set fires in Accomack County since mid-November last year.

Sunday night’s fire broke out at the abandoned structure on Drummondtown Road in Accomack just after 9 o’clock.


ORIGINAL STORY:  Another suspected arson fire in Accomack County overnight; this one at an abandoned structure on Drummondtown Road in Accomack.

Virginia State Police say the blaze was reported just after 9 o’clock Sunday night.

If this latest fire is determined to be arson, it would be the 76th deliberately set fire since last November.
