Man In NJ Hospital After Being Airlifted From Fishing Boat

A man who was aboard a fishing boat off the coast of New Jersey is in the hospital after being airlifted from the boat.

Around 9:30 Saturday night, the crew of the fishing boat Atlantic Warrior called watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Atlantic City and said a man on board was in pain and needed medical help. A Dolphin Helicopter crew from Air Station Atlantic City and a Hercules Aircraft crew from Air Station Elizabeth City, North Carolina were sent out to the boat. Around 10:30 p.m., the helicopter crew arrived, and hoisted the man off the deck of the boat. He was taken AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.
