Delmarva Power Requests Rate Increase from DE PSC

Electric rates could be going up in Delaware if the Public Service Commission approves a base rate adjustment of approximately $42-million.  Delmarva Power plans to made additional infrastructure improvements of over $397-million over the next 5 years – much of that will be for reliability upgrades servicing homes and businesses in Delaware.  If approved a residential customer using 1000 kilowatt hours per month would see an increase of $7.63.
