Mar 18, 2013 -- 3:37pm

State Police are investigating a burglary in Wilmington on Marsh Road that occurred on Sunday around 5pm.  An 82 year old female victim answered the door to find a man who claimed to be from the water company and was working on contaminated water lines in the area.  She let the man into her home – but realized things were missing from the house while she was in the basement with the man.  Police say the suspect is a white man, about 5’ 5” with a thin build and wore a navy jacket and pants and a black hat.  The victim never saw the second suspect.  Police remind homeowners to ask for identifictation before allowing any unexpected worker into your home.
