2 Lawyers Suspended By Delaware Supreme Court's Office of Disciplinary Counsel

Mar 16, 2013 -- 12:55pm

Two lawyers have been suspended by the Delaware Supreme Court’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel.

Last Tuesday, attorney James R. Folsom was transferred to disability inactive status under the Delaware Lawyers’ Rules of Disciplinary Procedure. Under those rules, until he’s returned to active status, he’s not allowed to practice law in Delaware.

Also last Tuesday, attorney Joseph Gabay was suspended from practicing law until the result of disciplinary proceedings against him. The Disciplinary Counsel found that Gabay had engaged in professional misconduct which showed that he posed a serious threat of harm to the public and the orderly administration of justice.

Both attorneys’ practices have been placed in receivership.
