Around 1 o’clock Friday afternoon, Delaware State Police carried out a search warrant and arrested 23-year-old Stanford Demby III and 22-year-old Brooke Ganderton, both of Middletown, after a month-long drug investigation at the Pleasant Hill Motel. Officers with the Kent and New Castle County Drug Units and the Middletown Police Department found 341 bags of heroin containing just over eight and a half grams, 2.4 grams of cocaine, just under a gram of marijuana, and more than $1,800 in money from drug sales.

Demby and Ganderton have been charge with possession of heroin and marijuana, possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver, and second-degree conspiracy. They were released after posting $72,300 bond each.
