Delaware State Police have charged a 66-year-old Felton man in connection with the unlawful sexual contact of a 17- year-old male.

Police say they were contacted by the victim on Monday, March 4; the victim told officers he was being touched inappropriately by a friend of the family.

After a thorough and comprehensive investigation, it was determined that John Trenberth inappropriately touched and made sexual advances towards the victim; police say the incidents occurred at Trenberth’s home over a nine-month period, starting in June 2012.

Trenberth was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of 2^nddegree unlawful sexual contact with a person under 18-years-old and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned and released after posting $12,500 bail.
