The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office today is trying to determine what sparked a house fire in Ocean Pines Thursday morning.

Firemen from Ocean Pines, Showell and Berlin were called to the home on Rabbit Run Lane around 5 a.m.

The home was occupied at the time but the man was able to get out safely thanks to a working smoke detector. No injuries were reported.
