The son of a Delaware courthouse gunman who shot and killed his daughter-in-law and her best friend last month before killing himself, waived a preliminary hearing Thursday on charges of violating his probation on federal kidnapping and fraud charges.
Former Delaware Optometrist David Matusiewicz was in court yesterday to hear a judge read revised charges by prosecutors who allege he has violated his probation by failing to stay away from guns and lying about his whereabouts and activities.
Matusiewicz will be back in court March 19 for a hearing on whether or not his probation will be revoked.
David Matusiewicz was arrested February 11 after his ex-wife, Christine Belford and her friend Laura Mulford were killed by his father Thomas at the New Castle County Courthouse.
