UPDATED 6:45PM - The Bay Bridge has reopened to passenger vehicle traffic only. All trucks must exit prior to the bridge.

Maryland Highway officials say much of the heavy snow has bypassed the Baltimore-Washington metro area, but road crews are ready.  Western Maryland saw between 3 and 10 inches of snow. 

The Bay Bridge remains closed because of high winds and an accident on one span. 

Flooding is still expected to occur in low-lying areas through late tonight.

Officials say driving conditions tonight could deteriorate in Maryland and drivers should modify their driving behavior for the conditions.
