UPDATED - 10am - Power has been restored to nearly everyone in the Georgetown, Millsboro and Seaford areas. Power was interrupted after a crash just before 6:30 this morning. Customers of both Delmarva Power and Delaware Electric Cooperative lost power. Co-op officials say a transmission line was knocked out - which resulted in the loss of power at three Co-op substations.

The Delaware Electric Cooperative is reporting that a vehicle crash knocked out power in the Georgetown area. A Delmarva Power transmission line was affected - resulting in a loss of power at three Co-op substations. Co-op crews are redirecting power to homes without power.
According to the Co-op's website, they're aiming for 8am to restore power. Delmarva Power's website is showing over 3300 people without power and a restoration time of 8 to 10am.
There are outages throughout the Georgetown, Millsboro and Seaford area
