A crash on February 14 in Bear that left an 80 year old man dead remains under investigation.  Police say William McConchie was a passenger in a car driven by 76 year old Joan McConchie when they collided with a car making a let turn off Wrangle Hill Road towards Rue Madora.  William McConchie died on February 17th from injuries he sustained in the crash – everyone was properly restrained.  The driver of the other vehicle – 33 year old Joseph Starkey of Wilmington was cited for failure to yield.
