Right now Tidbury Pond near Dover and Newton Pond near Greenwood are off-limits until Saturday – the start of trout season in Delaware.  It’s an annual rite of spring as the stocking of trout will take place on Thursday – but no lines can go in the water at either pond until 7am Saturday.
