Delaware Air National Guardsmen will be heading to Southwest Asia next week.  About 100 Air National Guardsmen from the 166^th Airlift Wing will serve 4 months in the Southwest Asia combat zone in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  They’ll leave New Castle on Tuesday and Thursday – and will serve alongside fellow Air Guardsmen from the 136^th Airlift Wing out of Texas.  The Delaware troops are from the 166^th Operations Group, which includes all C-130 aircrew and other airmen and the 166^th Maintenance Group, who maintain and repair the aircraft.
