Delaware Governor Jack Markell is in D.C. this morning to deliver the keynote address at the Georgetown Climate Center conference entitled "Promoting Low-Carbon Solutions and a Resilient Future Together."
The Governor is joining with policy leaders and stakeholders from around the country to explore how state and federal government can work together to chart a new path forward in climate and energy policy, share climate-related activities happening at the state and local levels, evaluate efforts to respond to recent storms and discuss how to increase resilience to extreme weather.
The Georgetown Climate Center seeks to advance effective climate, energy and transportation policies in the United States.
