Delmarva Power is asking its customers to help their less fortunate neighbors stay warm.
The company recently kicked off its annual Good Neighbor Energy Fund drive. Customers have been receiving pre-addressed envelopes with their bills to make tax-deductible donations to the fund. Delmarva Power will match the donations with one dollar for every three collected, up to $70,000.
Last year, customers contributed more than $25,000 to the fund, which Delmarva Power established more than 30 years ago. The fund is administered by the Salvation Army
Income-eligible Delmarva Power customers can contact their local Salvation Army offices.
