A Wilmington man has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute 5 kilos or more of cocaine and 1 kilo or more of heroin. 34 year old Kelvin Cook faces a sentence of 10 years to life in prison. Cook was responsible for recruiting drug couriers to go to Panama to import the cocaine and heroin into the US. He was also responsible for a large crack cocaine distribution network in Wilmington. Cook is the 14th person charged in the Wilmington-based Panama drug connection and will be sentenced on June 20th at 3pm.
