Harrington Man Arrested For 5th DUI

A Harrington man is in jail after being arrested for his fifth DUI.

51-year-old Edward Soja was arrested for driving under the influence on Saturday after being pulled over for a traffic violation on Route 13. Harrington Police say when Soja was pulled over, officers smelled alcohol coming out of his vehicle. Police say Soja failed field sobriety tests, and he was also wanted by the New Castle and Kent County Courts of Common Pleas.

In addition to his fifth DUI, Soja was charged with failure to remain in a single lane, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and failure to report an address change. He’s being held at SCI on $5,502 bond.
