A 44-year-old Wicomico County man arrested this week in connection with numerous vehicle break-ins, told police he did it to support his drug habit.

Joseph Waskey was arrested on Wednesday; he’s accused of breaking into vehicles, stealing credit cards and then using the cards at stores in Wicomcio and Worcester Counties. He’s currently being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

The Wicomico County Bureau of Investigation is still investigating and more charges could be filed against Waskey.
