The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood warning for Sussex and Kent Counties from 4 p.m. today until 11 o’clock Saturday morning.
A coastal flood advisory will also be in effect until 9 o’clock Saturday morning for Worcester and Accomack counties.
And a wind advisory will go into effect at 11 o’clock today until 5 a.m. Saturday for Sussex County.
Forecasters say moderate coastal flooding should be expected. Winds are expected to gust up to 45-miles-per-hour which could bring down trees and power lines causing power outages.
