The Delaware Electric Cooperative is asking members to Beat the Peak tonight from 6 till 8pm.  The very cold temperatures forecast for tonight will have members using a lot of energy to heat their homes – but it will be at much higher costs.  You can help to lower energy costs by turning off unnecessary lights, delaying the use of the washer, dryer, dishwasher and hot water and turn the temperature down a few degrees.
