Gas prices are continuing to rise as we start a new month, and have jumped sharply over the last week.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the national average for regular unleaded went up four cents overnight to $3.46 a gallon. That’s up 13 cents over the last week. In Delaware, regular also went up four cents to $3.50 a gallon, up 14 cents in the past week. Regular went up four cents to $3.43 a gallon in South Jersey, up 13 cents over the last week. In Maryland, regular went up three cents to $3.47, up nine cents over the last week.
