5pm – A 3-vehicle crash shut down part of Route 13 in Seaford this afternoon. State Police say just before 2pm 50 year old Anna Collick of Laurel was northbound on Route 13 near Concord Road. A van was stopped for a red light behind a pickup truck. For unknown reasons Collick didn’t stop in time and hit the rear of the van – forcing her car to go under the van and push it into the rear of the pickup truck. Collick and 2 passengers were properly restrained and taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Collick has been cited for inattentive driving, driving while suspended and revoked and other offenses. Drivers of the other 2 vehicles were not injured.

Farther north at the intersection of Route 13 and Herring Run Road a gas leak shut down traffic in that area and detoured traffic away from the scene.   Both scenes were cleared by 4pm.
